Why the Giveback Model?

For each frame we sell, we donate a portion of each sale towards finishing the fight against cancer and supporting under served communities in Philadelphia.  Each cause is incredibly important to the Barring team because it personally impacted each co-founder. Cody's, Eric's, and Joe's friendship developed though common interests in designing sunglasses and their love for the great city of Philadelphia.  In 2014, the unexpected common loss of family members due to cancer was the catalyst to the formation of Barring Eyewear.  The Barring team rallied together as friends and followed their passion for designing sunglasses and supporting noble causes (American Cancer Society & Rock to the Future). How do you keep your prices reasonable on high quality products and sustain a business?

Well it's quite simple. We go straight to the manufacturer, we cut out the middle man in all aspects of the supply/design chain, and market direct to consumer.  Our business strategies allow us to manufacture the highest of quality products and sell chic designs at reasonable prices.  We don't expend our resources on large scale marketing campaigns and our mark-ups are not inflated.  What you see is a great value proposition for a reasonably priced marquee product. We invite our customers to share our message and enjoy our products to the fullest!

I live in Philadelphia. Is there concierge service?

We absolutely do concierge service!  We will travel to the location of your choosing and arrange a private exhibition where you will have the personal attention of a concierge.  Once you decide on a product(s), we can take payment at location with all major debit or credit cards via PayPal Here, which will allow you can enjoy our products immediately!

What forms of payment do you accept?

All major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), and Paypal – including Paypal's Bill Me Later® (no payments or interest for six months with minimum purchase of $99).

When will my order be processed?

Orders always begin processing the same day they are placed, excluding Sundays and holidays, and usually ship within two business days pending availability and credit card verification. You will be contacted if the merchandise you have selected is not currently in stock or if additional information is required for credit verification.

What is your return policy?

Barring offers quick exchanges or store credit for items returned within 60 days of the original purchase date. Simply ship unwanted items to the return address designated on your return slip and we will e-mail you a unique credit code on receiving your return.
